Seneca Falls, NY- On Saturday, December 7th, 2024 the Seneca Falls’ High School, Middle School, & 5th Grade student councils along with the Mynderse Varsity Chorus helped the Bonafiglia Family Foundation deliver 200 mini-Christmas trees to Seneca Nursing & Rehab and Huntington Living Center.

“The Bonafiglia Family Foundation was thrilled to be organizing this community holiday project for a second year” said Judy Wentzel, Executive Director for the Bonafiglia Family Foundation. “It is truly moving to witness the joyous environment the students foster by their presence and interaction with the nursing home residents & staff. We thank everyone who helped to make this year’s project a success!”

Earlier in the week at the Seneca Falls Community Center the students took time after school to decorate the mini-Christmas trees and write greeting cards that were donated by the Wilson Press.

“For students, this project remains a powerful and influential experience,” shares Anthony Noone, staff member for Seneca Falls Scholl District.  “Students are able to see firsthand the happiness that a kind gesture can bring to someone, especially during the holidays.  The Bonafiglia Foundation deserves a huge thank you for supporting this and for providing an opportunity for our youth to be engaged in their community. We look forward to participating in this wonderful event again next year!”
