FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Seneca Falls, NY- The Bonafiglia Family Foundation is excited to announce plans for a transformative hotel development project, in the town’s historic downtown area. This strategic initiative aims to stimulate economic growth, enhance tourism offerings, and elevate hospitality standards in the Finger Lakes Region. The foundation is prepared to aid the most qualified developer with major economic incentives to develop on their canal front property. The Bonafiglia Family Foundation has issued a Request for Expression of Interest (REFI) from experienced developers, hotel operators, and investors interested in participating in this landmark project.

The proposed development site is a vacant parcel along the Cayuga Seneca Canalway currently owned by the Bonafiglia Family Foundation adjacent to the National Women’s Hall of Fame presenting a unique opportunity for innovative design, sustainable development, and long-term community value. The current plan for the site includes approximately 80 rooms, restaurant, conference & event space, walkable paths green spaces along waterfront and connectivity to other parts of downtown.
“We are looking for visionary partners who share our commitment to quality, a high level of service and community impact,” said Judy Wentzel, Executive Director for the Bonafiglia Family Foundation. “This REFI process is the first step in realizing a development that will serve both visitors and residents while advancing the Town of Seneca Falls broader goals.”
